Inconsistent rights of way: footpath left; bridleway right
In England and Wales, some footpaths are much better for cycling on than bridleways, but currently it's only permissible to cycle on the latter. Cycling UK has long believed that the Rights of Way network needs to be far more consistent, coherent and welcoming for cyclists.
