Thame Cycling Club

Thame Cycling Club was started in 2014 and based in the Market Town of Thame, South Oxfordshire, we are a friendly supportive and encouraging  road riding club and occasionally offer off-road MTB and Gravel rides. All our rides are led by experienced ride leaders. There are four speed groups 'Group A: 28kph+(17.4 mph) Group B:26-28kph(16-17.4mph),Group C :24-26kph( 14.9-16mph).GroupD:21-24kph (13-14.9mph).Rides are between 30 and 60 miles and always have a good café stop included:)

We ride mainly on Saturdays setting off at 9 a.m.  and the D group offer a Wednesday ride as well..

We welcome new and novice members and we operate a no drop policy and encourage riders to move up through the groups ( or down ) as they improve.

This year some club  members have ridden  Mont Ventoux , Paris Roubaix , The Pan Celtic ultra cycling race ,Race around the Netherlands and a more leisurely tour of Albania with one member riding home ! And mostly we simply enjoy riding the quiet Oxfordshire lanes- so do come and join us.
