About us

Kinross-shire Trishaws and Community Cycling (KT&CC) is a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO).  We aim to develop our local community by advancing health and wellbeing, improving the environment, reducing carbon emissions, creating employment, increasing social cohesion and inclusion, contributing to the local economy, increasing road safety for cyclists, and increasing active travel.

We offer free rides on our Trishaws to end loneliness and social isolation. Our rides are targeted towards those that are unable to cycle themselves either through age, disability, or health limiting conditions. We enable passengers to feel the wind in their hair and remain connected to the community.

We offer inclusive Community Cycling opportunities to increase the number of adults, older adults and children cycling in our community through the delivery of led rides to improve confidence, fitness, physical health, mental health, and develop/further social inclusion, as well as through the development of facilities and cycling infrastructure.

We develop and lead Bike Buses to increase the number of children and families cycling and travelling actively to school.

We offer Learn to Ride/Play on Pedals sessions to ensure that people of all ages (particularly children) have the opportunity to learn to ride a bike.
