Glow rides are back on 22 October 2026

Last year, thousands of people lit up the streets in 67 towns and cities across the UK as part of Cycling UK's ‘My ride. Our right’ campaign. This year, we're doing it all again, and we'd love you to be part of it.

Glow rides are a colourful celebration of cycling that shine a light on the need for safer streets and better cycle routes, especially for women riding after dark. Together, we can show decision makers that more needs to be done to make cycling feel safe and accessible for everyone.

Women-led and open to everyone, glow rides are organised by local people and community groups across the UK. If you'd like to host a ride where you live, we'd love to hear from you.

Getting started is easy. Simply register your ride using the form on our website, then have a look at our step-by-step guide to help you plan your event. If you have any questions, get in touch at [email protected]. We may even be able to put you in touch with someone nearby who has organised a glow ride before.
