Belles ride the Battery Park to Kilmacolm

Join us on a cycle from the Battery Park to Kilmacolm and back on Saturday 20th October, meeting at the Pavilion in Battery Park at 10am. 22 miles in total, we will have a stop off in Kilmacolm for a wee break and a bit of cake.

We will set off along the coastal cycle route (NCR75), head up the Clune Brae - the one big hill we will have to tackle (we can walk up if needed and we will wait for everyone at the top so don't worry if hills are not your thing). We will then head back onto the cycle track from Port Glasgow to Kilmacolm.

There will be mix of on road cycling and there is a hill. The total route is 22 miles, 11 miles there and 11 miles back. The pace will be moderate, so the ride is not suitable if you have not been on the bike for a while.

Please make sure your bike is in good working order, bring a spare inner tube, snacks, appropriate clothing/ waterproofs and gloves. Bring some cash too if you would like a coffee and cake and for the £1 donation required to cover our annual affiliation cost to Cycling UK (total of £75 per year).
