Ravinder Kaur Bassi has been nominated as a community champion for her passion and dedication to inclusive cycling. Since discovering her love for cycling in 2021, she has become a ride leader for Cycle Sisters, Joy Riders and the Sikh Cycling Club, as well as leading teen rides in Redbridge. Ravinder is known for her warmth, encouragement and hands-on support, from fixing bikes to inspiring confidence in new riders. Her personal milestones, like Ride London and the London to Cambridge ride, reflect her determination, while her true joy comes from fostering community, friendship and a love for cycling.
