Lyn doesn’t own a car and so cycles everywhere, including transporting small children by cargo bike or tailer and tandem when her kids were young. Today, those children are at university and the bike and trailer are put to good use carrying luggage to train stations. She has long campaigned on behalf of cyclists in Southampton. She is currently chair of Southampton Cycling Campaign and was a major factor in the provision of safe cycle routes in the city.
