Emma rediscovered cycling in her 30s through her husband’s Cycle to Work scheme, having ‘grown out’ of it when she learned to drive. From leisure cycling with the family, her passion grew and since beginning work at Cycling UK, she has been instrumental in building the Aberdeenshire Bothy, from a tiny idea to an award-winning project. She is always looking for ways to improve access to cycling across the region and helping others overcome their barriers to cycling..
