As the women’s captain of the club London Dynamo, Ellie tirelessly fosters a community that is supportive and inclusive, whether it’s organising group rides, women’s open days and newcomer rides, sharing news and updates with the group and checking in on how people are doing. She is welcoming and empathetic, and thanks to Ellie, the group is flourishing and recently surpassed the milestone of having a hundred women members.
“Cycling can be an intimidating sport to get into, particularly for women, but I feel really proud that we have virtually doubled the women’s membership in the past couple of years.”
