Ann Stewart
Inspiring coach to young cyclists
Ann discovered cycling later in life, buying her first bike at 25.
She began cycling seriously as a commuter, completing a 40-mile round trip to work for almost 20 years. After retiring, she taught her granddaughter to ride, which led her to join North Cheshire Clarion Juniors and become a coach.
Ann helps novice riders develop skills, prepares them for road and cyclocross races, and champions girls in the club. She dedicates her time to planning and delivering sessions.
“Coaching the kids is both satisfying and enjoyable, lots of them race too, which is fun!”
