Ann discovered her passion for cycling in the 1980s, once her children became independent.
Joining CTC North Yorkshire, she quickly progressed to long-distance rides, completing 100-mile events, 24-hour rides, Paris-Brest-Paris three times, London-Edinburgh-London and numerous Audax UK events.
A committed supporter of cycling, Ann has served as a CTC committee member, secretary, and since 2020, as president.
She has received Audax UK’s merit award three times and has supported events for decades, from organising rides to catering. Ann continues to encourage cyclists of all levels, inspiring friendships across the UK and beyond.
