Annemiek is a Dutch professional road racing cyclist, winning the World Championships road race in 2019 and 2022, and the time trial in 2017 and 2018. This year, she also won both Grand Tours in women’s cycling, the Giro D’Italia Donne, for the third time, and the Tour de France de Femmes, which returned for the first time after a 32-year hiatus. She also won the gold medal at the time trial event at the Olympic Games in Rio 2016, and a silver in the road race at Tokyo 2020.
