Ride to Lakeside café in Horam, East Sussex
On Sunday 5th February at 10 am we will be leaving the Rotunda Café at the southern end of Preston Park and riding to the Lakeside Café-Bistro at Horam Manor Farm, Horam, East Sussex TN21 0JB for lunch. Outside seating is available.

Virtual Cycle Touring Festival - Rebellion Way
At this year's Virtual cycle touring festival, follow in the chariot tracks of the trailblazing warrior queen Boudicca on Cycling UK's 232-mile bikepacking trail around Norfolk. Meandering along a mix of quiet, mostly flat back roads, byways, cycle paths and bridleways under huge panoramic skies, it’s a fantastic introduction to multi-day, on- and off-road adventuring for anyone.
Swansea and Gower Cycling Festival 2023
This summer sees the return of the Swansea & Gower Cycling Festival, under the management of Cycling UK member group, Swansea CTC. The original Gower Cycling Festival was an annual event organised by Swansea Cycling campaign group Wheelwrights, that ran from 2010 to 2018. The new 5-day festival will be planned and run by experienced members of Swansea CTC, and will offer a fantastic range of rides to suit all levels of cycling ability and experience.
Discovery Ride
Another in our occasional “Discover Bristol” series of relaxed rides to explore how to get around Bristol on a bike.
To Warmley Waiting Room cafe along the Bristol & Bath Railway Path, having negotiated a quiet and almost-entirely off-road route to the start of the path. At the cafe we’ll take lunch, or just cake.

CTC South West London Hilly 50km
A sportive challenge, the well-established Hilly 50 km event takes in 33 miles of the best of the Surrey Hills, supported by route sheets and maps (available in PDF format), with GPX data also available. This is a challenging circuit starting at Ryka's Café, Burford Bridge and finishing at the top of Box Hill.
Signing on is from 9.30 am with a start time of 10.00 am to finish by 2 pm.

Camping, caravan and motorhome show 2023
The Caravan, Camping and Motorhome Show - the UK’s biggest start of season event for those who love touring and exploring the great outdoors - returns to the NEC, Birmingham, from the 21 - 26 February. Across almost 20 acres, you’ll find products, gear and equipment to compliment any bike packing trip. A dedicated Tent & Camping Hall offers hundreds of quality tents, pitched ready to compare, including lightweight, compact one person tents ideal for cycling adventures.
Ride to the Victory Inn in Staplefield
PLEASE NOTE EARLIER START TIME. On Sunday 22 January, we'll be leaving Proper Cycling and Coffee café in Hassocks promptly at 10.00 and ride to The Victory Inn in Staplefield for lunch. If you prefer, bring a picnic and have lunch on the nearby green. This will be a road ride of 50 miles, round trip from Brighton.
