Cycle Touring Festival – Autumn Gathering
Event description
The 2023 Autumn Gathering will take place at Waddow Hall, Clitheroe, from Friday 29 September-Sunday 1 October 2023. The programme is currently being put together, but Cycling UK’s campaigns officer Sophie Gordon will be introducing the charity’s newest long-distance route, Traws Eryri in Wales. More details will be announced shortly, but in the meantime you can buy your ticket now!
Key information
- Location: Waddow Hall, Clitheroe, Lancashire
- Ticket price: £47.50 per person or £32.50 for Saturday only (with no camping)
- Tickets include 2 nights of camping, dinner on Saturday night, self-service tea/coffee throughout the weekend and all talks
- Campers will have access to a toilet block with hot showers available. Tents only please – no camper vans are permitted. The main campsites are a five-minute walk from the marquee, up a hill
- Saturday night dinner will be a two-course simple vegetarian meal, with a vegan option
- All talks and other sessions will take place in a marquee. Bring warm clothes!
- Arrive on Friday night; leave Sunday afternoon. If you want to stay on Sunday night, please contact Waddow Hall directly
- Breakfasts and lunches are not included. Waddow Hall is approximately 1 mile from Clitheroe, which has plenty of places to eat and drink. However, as eating together is such a nice way to socialise, please consider eating meals together in the marquee
- Tea and coffee will be provided throughout the event, on a self-serve basis – just bring your own mug
- The bar will be open from 6pm-11pm on Friday and Saturday evening, accepting cash and card
- Travel: please consider travelling to the Autumn Gathering by public transport and/or by bike. Clitheroe has a train station. If public transport/cycling isn’t possible, there is parking available on-site
- You don’t need to buy a ticket for anyone aged 17 or under, but they must be accompanied by an adult. Let us know they’re coming by adding a note to your order
