Building new habits for a healthier Britain
Event description
Webinar Series - Creating a new normal: cycling post-pandemic in the UK
Much of the conversation during the global pandemic has been around not reverting to doing things in the same way, and what the new ‘normal’ will look like. Cycling UK is hosting a discussion to highlight what advice, support and training will be needed in order to develop long-term behaviour change, to improve the health of the nation and ensure people are regularly active.
We’ll also hear about the Government's plans to support active travel from Minister for Cycling & Walking, Chris Heaton-Harris MP.
Our expert guests include:
- Melanie Berry - Her Spirit
- Mirjam Borsboom - International Cycling Policies and Strategies, Dutch Ministry of Infrastructure and Water management
- Jenny Box - Cycling UK
