About us
Wheelrights are a CUK affiliated group. We help get people on bikes by:
- Encouraging and assisting potential cyclists to take up cycling and use a bike as a means of transport.
- Campaigning for better provisions for cyclists in the Swansea Bay area.
- Providing information about cycling related activities.

Information about the group rides
As we are a campaigning group rides is not our main focus. However, we do organise the Gower Cycling Festival (18-25 August) details of which can be found on the 'Cycling Festival' page of www.wheelrights.org.uk. (Alternatively accessed from gowercyclingfestival.org.uk) and, during the summer, our Cappuccino Rides which are gentle excursions, mainly on cycle paths, aimed at new or returning cyclists. Details of these are provided on the 'Rides/Commutes' and 'Events' pages of the website.
We also support but do not formally organise the Swansea Critical Mass rides which take place on the first Friday of each month starting from the South Gateway of Singleton Park.
