The Harp Pedlars
About us
The Harp Pedlars are a Cycling UK affiliated group. We are a Wirral based social cycling group founded in February 2011 with 3 members. We now have 20 plus members. We ride every Tuesday for fun, fitness and friendship. "The conversations are more important than the miles" sums up the Pedlar approach to cycling. We support National and local cycling initiatives .
Our regular rides cover the Wirral, Merseyside, Cheshire and North Wales. Step outs take us further afield such as the Lake District, Isle of Man, Shropshire and Holland. Holland has now become an annual pilgrimage for the Pedlars. We have also visited Ireland, South Wales and Suffolk with the Yorkshire Wolds planned for September 2018.
Our weekly rides are recorded with a written blog, some pictures a gps map and a song of the day! The range used to be under 20 miles but is now 30 - 45 miles.
A log is kept of all our rides and certificates are presented to Pedlars as they reach significant milestones, 1000 miles, 2000 miles etc.
